Branch of Good Neighbors International (GNI) works in Kyrgyzstan starting from 2014 in four different regions: Chuy region, Sokuluk district, Nijne-Chuisk local government; Osh region, Osh city, MTU Zhapalak; Jalal-Abad region, Toktogul district, Bel-Aldy local government; Issyk Kul region, Ton district, B.Mambetov local government

Good Neighbors International in Kyrgyz Republic is announcing the position of "Fundraising Officer".

Qualification requirements

Necessary Knowledge:

• English (Upper Intermediate and higher levels), Russian and Kyrgyz language skills
• Computer literacy (MS Office applications, Google products)
• Adobe products, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator (desirable)

Necessary educational background (related major):

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in preferably in economics, development studies, international relations, social sciences, communications, business, public relations, or related field

Required work experience:

• At least three years of experience in NGO and fundraising related programs, sales, or marketing
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to lead and motivate colleagues and volunteers
• Strong attention to detail
• Passion for research
• Ability to successfully balance priorities while managing multiple tasks and planning big events
• Experience in writing grant proposals and fundraising letters

Required certificate:

• Certification, diploma, or similar qualification in fundraising

Duties

• Developing year-based activity plan, monitoring plan and evaluation plan, grades for volunteering levels
• Work on implementation of volunteer’s initiative projects and projects developed by department
• Spot new fundraising / crowdfunding opportunities
• Plan fundraising / crowdfunding initiatives to help the organization meet financial goals
• Providing full support for donation collecting and sorting process, also includes process of collection donations from volunteers 
• Providing full support for fundraising / crowdfunding events management
• Form strong relationships with external stakeholders
• Research individuals and foundations that are interested in gift giving
• Effectively convey the organization’s mission, vision, and programs to potential donors
• Write grant applications and fundraising / crowdfunding proposals
• Strategize and successfully execute fundraising / crowdfunding campaigns
• Organize fundraising / crowdfunding events while overseeing teams of volunteers
• Manage a budget and track whether goals are being met
