Branch of Good Neighbors International (GNI) works in Kyrgyzstan starting from 2014 in four different regions: Chuy region, Sokuluk district, Nijne-Chuisk local government; Osh region, Osh city, MTU Zhapalak; Jalal-Abad region, Toktogul district, Bel-Aldy local government; Issyk Kul region, Ton district, B.Mambetov local government

Good Neighbors International in Kyrgyz Republic is announcing the position of "Income Generation Department Coordinator".

Qualification requirements

Necessary Knowledge:

  • Language: Fluent proficiency in English, Russian, and Kyrgyz languages.
  • Financial and Business sector of country (Bank and Microfinance sector is priority)
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity and proficiency in using Google products, such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides. Basic Knowledge of programming language will be an advantage (desirable).
  • Project Management Experience: Previous experience in project management, including design, implementation, and budget management. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deliverables within given timelines and resources.
  • Previous experience in microfinance institutions.

Necessary educational background (related major):

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.

Required work experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in an NGO or similar organization or -
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in financial or bank sector.
  • Experience in project management, implementation, and coordination. Familiarity with project-related programs and activities.

Required certificate:

  • Driver’s license: B category (driving experience more than 3 year)
  • Other certificates will affect for additional positive consideration

Extra required capacity:

  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the Kyrgyz Republic for project-related activities.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and individuals.
  • Initiative: Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving.

Duties

  1. Project Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of income-generating projects, ensuring they meet objectives within budget and timelines.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with project beneficiaries, cooperatives, CBOs, government agencies, and educational institutions.
  3. Financial Management: Manage department finances, including budgeting, reporting, and risk assessment.
  4. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor team members, ensuring their effective contribution to project goals.
  5. Partnership Development: Foster collaborations with external organizations to expand our reach and resources.
  6. Reporting: Design and manage and submission of reports in timely manner.
