About the project

Integrated Rural Development Project in Kyrgyzstan is a rural development project funded by Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The project is expected to work with 30 selected villages in Osh and Batken for the next 5 years with following goals:

i) Creating an enabling socio-economic environment by supporting the basic rural infrastructure.

ii) Enhancing household income by increasing agricultural productivity and improving access to external markets

iii) Improving governance in rural development by building the institutional capacity of government agencies in designing national policy.  

The project office, based in Osh, is currently recruiting local staff. We encourage all those interested in community development and value chain to apply.

Qualification requirements

Qualification requirements

• University degree and minimum if two years of experience in project implementation;
• Strong organizational & communication skills;
• Good report writing skills;
• Strong presentation and communication skills both in English & Russian;
• Able to liaise, work effectively and interact in a professional manner within own work location and with other IRDP stakeholders;
• Good analytical thinking and ability to accurately enter data;
• Ability to works independently & in a team;
• Excellent written & spoken Kyrgyz, Russian & English;
• Highly computer literate proficiency in MS Office and related business & communication tools;
• Excellent skills of working with databases & interpreting data.

Duties

Duties

• Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and timely updates;
• Develop effective communication strategies with project stakeholders;
• Assist in the coordinate the implementation of the project relevant components (construction);
• Monitor implementation of the activities to ensure is proceeding according to established plans with the experts;
• Provide technical and administrative support to the project implementation;
• Monitor work of implementing partners & report any non-compliance to the supervisor;
• Close work with implementing companies, such as construction technical inspector, delivery companies;
• Track the effectiveness of communication efforts and provide regular reports to supervisors;
• Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
