Branch of Good Neighbors International (GNI) works in Kyrgyzstan starting from 2014 in four different regions: Chuy region, Sokuluk district, Nijne-Chuisk local government; Osh region, Osh city, MTU Zhapalak; Jalal-Abad region, Toktogul district, Bel-Aldy local government; Issyk Kul region, Ton district, B.Mambetov local government

Good Neighbors International in Kyrgyz Republic is announcing the position of "Child Sponsorship Program Assistant ".

Qualification requirements

Necessary Knowledge

• English (Upper Intermediate and higher levels), Russian and Kyrgyz language skills
• Computer literacy (MS Office applications, Google products)
• Adobe products, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator (desirable)

Necessary educational background (related major)

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in international relations, social sciences or another relevant field

Required work experience

• Working experience in NGO (upper 1-2 year experience)

Required certificate

• Driver’s license: B category (desirable)

Extra required capacity:

• Flexible
• Opportunity to travel on business trips in the Kyrgyz Republic
• Ready for work with different groups of people (school children, students, vulnerable people)
• Good organizational skills, responsibility, initiative, innovation, creativity, purposefulness, communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Duties

• Overall management of Sponsored Children in the rural area
• Manage the Sponsored Children’s Data in Child Management System (CMS program)
• Provide the direct service for Sponsored Children such as food distribution, health check-up, educational material support, medical support.
• Conduct Home Visiting Activity for Sponsored Children
• Prepare the sponsorship program report and field work (Annual Child Letter, Annual Progress Report, Gift Money Letter)
• Cooperation and work coordination in Project Area with local community, interns, local government representatives.
