Representative Office of Acted in Osh, is looking for qualified staff to fill the vacant position of "Logistics Assistant" to perform transparent and efficient procurement and logistics management for Acted programmes in Osh, Batken.

Qualification requirements

  • Bachelor degree in economics, Business Administration, development studies or another relevant field;
  • At least 2 years of experience in procurement/logistics department. 
  • Prior work experience in implementing international/donor funded projects, preferably EU projects;
  • Experience in procurement planning & asset management;
  • Good communications skills, ability to work in a team, and personnel management skills;
  • Commitment to ensuring accountability and transparency in all activities and decision-making;
  • Good problem-solving skills, well organized and detailed oriented;
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, identify errors and prepare reports;
  • Fluency in English, Kyrgyz and Russian;
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and computer software skills;
  • Autonomous, flexible, solution-oriented and motivated.

Duties

  • Implement procurement according to Requests by Tasks of the Manager of Logistics Department.
  • Conduct Inventory of Acted Property monthly and quarterly;
  • Implement requests on printing materials for Acted projects. Register and follow-up visibility items (t-shirts, jackets, caps, banners) delivered to Acted staff;
  • Will be responsible for all assets purchased and/or belonging to Acted and for the enforcement of Central Asian Acted’s procurement, logistic and security management guidelines and rules in the regional office;
  • Assist  Managers of Departments to organize trainings and study groups;
  • Perform efficient, transparent and timely procurement of quality and functioning equipment, and delivery for Acted programs;
  • Provide on-time delivery of goods, purchased for rehabilitation projects to the facility;
  • Control the printing and publishing activities, also to produce control of producing visibility materials of the donors, agreed with coordination and relevant department managers;
  • Prepare, fill-in, collect and follow-up Order Forms and Purchase Order;
  • Fill-in and provision purchase report of Order Follow Up weekly;
  • Perform accurate and efficient asset and stock management for Acted in Osh;
  • Perform accurate, efficient and cost-efficient communication management
  • Provide safeguards abidance, relating to the mission;
  • Control the fill-in of registration sheet visitors of Acted;
  • Offer improvement and relevant changes in the Logistic system management to the Logistics Officer and Coordination;
  • Make contribution to new project development, affording the technical assistance to Coordination;
  • Provide accurate filling of all  pretreated documentation;
  • Monthly reports (consolidated monthly purchased goods and current goods reports, through the communication assets);
  • Monthly and quarterly update of equipment follow-up and inventory tables for the capital office;
  • Consolidated asset management report
  • Production and timely submission of purchase report;
  • Stock condition report;
  • Improved internal purchase management;
  • Provide any support for the good functioning of Acted whenever requested by Acted Coordination;
