Background:  The joint project with WFP is devoted to supporting strategic outcome 3 (S03) with the establishment of mini-processing facilities using the OVOP approach. The target regions are Batken (Batken, Kadamjai, Leilek), Osh (Nookat, Aravan), and Naryn (Naryn, Jumgal, Ak-Talaa). Below is a short list of project activities to be implemented:

-          Development of 43 products from raw materials

-          Mobilization of local producers

-          Holding training for local producers

-          Establishment of 43 mini workshops

-          Preparation of technical specifications for equipment procurement

-          Further supervision of mini-processing workshops

Qualification requirements

• Higher education
• Fluency in English language
• Work experience not less than 1 year
• Accountancy experience is welcome
• Ability for long business trips to regions of Kyrgyzstan
• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management
• High planning ability 
• Communication, management & teamwork skills

Duties

• To support the coordination of the project activities under the OVOP+1 management
• Coordinate technical training to be held by project team members
• Effective communication with local producers, local government agencies & other stakeholders
• To monitor preparations for the workshops 
• To assist local producers
• To assist producer to promote products
