Duties
Incumbent functions as the primary point of contact for all third-party landlord repair and upgrade issues at approximately 60 leased residences, liaises with Facilities, GSO/Housing, Landlords, and contractors to coordinate and facilitate repairs. Conducts a variety of detailed inspections of each residence to include new lease, pre-departure, final departure, final make-ready, maintenance tracking, project management, record keeping, and other contract work as required. Receives requirements on major building systems and post occupational safety and health officer requirements from Facilities and ensures landlord contractor completion of same. Provides oversight of contractor work and performs quality control inspections of completed work. Keeps Residential Supervisor abreast of changing conditions and coordinates efforts that ensure continuity of operations as well as deliver timely services and provide customer service to over 60 U.S. Direct Hire employees and family members.

Requirements:
Selected candidate must be able to obtain and hold a Public Trust - Background Investigation. Selected candidate will be subject to a background investigation and may be subject to a pre-employment medical exam. Selected candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time upon receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Education Requirements:
Completion of vocational or technical training in facilities management, environmental safety, construction, engineering, architecture, or equivalent is required.

Experience:
Three (3) years of experience in quality control in construction or maintenance or repair or similar projects.

Language:
Good working knowledge (speaking/reading/writing) of English is required. Fluent knowledge (speaking/reading/writing) of Russian is required. Good working knowledge (speaking/reading/writing) of Kyrgyz is required. (This may be tested.)

Job Knowledge:
Must have knowledge of Kyrgyz construction codes and regulations, local safety, and security rules.

Skills And Abilities:
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SharePoint) and Internet Research. Must have a valid driver’s license. (This may be tested.)
