We are looking for Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive risk management framework for crypto and digital assets business.
This is an opportunity to build risk infrastructure from the ground up, work at the intersection of finance, technology and digital assets, and play a critical role in building a secure, compliant and sustainable business

Qualification requirements

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Law, or a related field
Knowledge of Kyrgyz, Russian and English languages
Proven risk management experience in crypto, fintech, financial institutions, investment firms, or exchanges
Strong understanding of crypto market structure, AML/KYC, regulatory frameworks, capital and liquidity risk
Experience working with regulators is highly preferred
FRM, CFA, CAMS or similar certifications are an advantage
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Deep understanding of crypto market dynamics
Strategic mindset with strong decision-making skills
Proven crisis management experience
High ethical standards and integrity
Excellent communication and reporting skills

Duties

What You’ll Do

Develop and implement the company-wide risk management framework
Define risk appetite, tolerance levels, and internal risk limits
Monitor risk exposure across trading, custody, liquidity, and counterparties
Manage volatility, leverage, liquidity, and exposure risks
Establish margin requirements and liquidation policies
Lead stress testing and scenario analysis
Ensure robust risk controls across spot, margin, derivatives, and other products
Ensure compliance with crypto regulations, AML/CFT requirements, and licensing obligations
Lead regulatory and audit risk reporting
Keep risk policies aligned with evolving regulatory requirements
Identify vulnerabilities across trading systems and custody infrastructure
Oversee incident response and business continuity planning
