Background:  The joint project with WFP is devoted for supporting strategic outcome 3 (S03) with the establishment of mini-processing facilities using the OVOP approach. The target regions are Batken (Batken, Kadamjai, Leilek), Osh (Nookat, Aravan), and Naryn (Naryn, Jumgal, Ak-Talaa). Below is a short list of project activities to be implemented:

-          Development of 43 products from raw materials

-          Mobilization of local producers

-          Holding trainings for local producers

-          Establishment of 43 mini workshops

-          Preparation of technical specifications for equipment procurement

-          Further supervision of mini-processing workshops

Qualification requirements

Ø  Higher education

Ø  Fluency in English language

Ø  Work experience not less than 3 years

Ø  Accountancy experience is welcome

Ø  Ability for long business trips to regions of Kyrgyzstan

Ø  Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management

Ø  Communication, management & teamwork skills

Duties

Ø  To coordinate total project activities  under the OVOP+1 management

Ø  To coordinate technical trainings to be held by project team members

Ø  Effective communication with local producers, local government agencies & other stakeholders

Ø  Disseminate the OVOP project concept

Ø  Providing detailed project activities reports
