Main Purpose:

Assisting the Logistics Coordinator in specific activities and assuming some delegated tasks, according to his/her instructions and MSF standards and protocols in order to ensure a proper logistics management in the capital and providing support to logistic activities in the projects.

MSF is looking to recruit a suitable candidate for the position below:

Job:                         Logistics Coordinator Assistant

Duty station:           Bishkek

Start of work:         1st January 2023

Contract duration: 1 year fixed–term contract (with the possibility of extension)

Probation period:   3 months

Qualification requirements


·            Essential secondary education with preferable technical diploma

·            Ability to work in multicultural environment.

·            Good communicative skills with people of difference social, cultural, educational background

·            Politeness, accuracy, patience, flexibility.


·            Essential two years of previous experience in similar jobs

·            Desirable experience with MSF or other NGOs

·            Fluency in Russian and English, knowledge of Kyrgyz is an advantage

·            Computer skills (MS word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook Express)


Main responsibilities include, but not limited to:

·            Planning and supervising the logistics within the Bishkek Coordination office, guest houses and warehouse/pharmacy;

·            Supporting the Logistics Coordinator and/or the Mission Supply Chain Manager in organizing the ordering and transport of goods to the different projects;

·            Organizing and supervising the fleet of vehicles in the coordination base (driver's schedules, vehicles maintenance, vehicles registration and insurance, fuel consumptions, etc.);

·            Assisting the Logistics Coordinator with the checkup and supervision of the proper functioning of IT equipment;

·            Supporting the LogCo in the planning and ensuring an appropriate emergency preparedness and response capacity and participating in any emergency activity or exploratory visit;

·            Responsible for renewing MSF vehicles insurances, new registrations;

·            Coordinate with Coordination Supply team while preparing/dispatching Log EPREP;

·            Supervise the logistics staff (drivers and watchmen) in the Coordination office.
