Techaim is a recently established women-led NGO in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan that aims to empower and inspire girls with technology. Techaim began as a community of girls and young women in IT (Information Technology) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) sectors in February 2019. Organising meet-ups, clubs, conferences, and STEAM fairs, the community was so popular and successful that they officially registered as an NGO in October 2019. Techaim then won 3rd prize at the High Technology Park Startup Competition and went through its start-up incubation program. Now, they are strategic partners of HTP in the growing community of girls and women in IT and STEAM, promoting STEAM education and digital skills and youth and women startups development. Under the Techaim Foundation there are also several initiatives running: Technovation Challenge, Khan Academy Kyrgyz, TechWomen and TechGirls club, Techaim community.
